Mask - Sisutil and Warrior Joe Wilson c2006
The Sisutil or two headed sea serpent he is very powerful
and guards the house of the sky people. He is an transformer
most commonly he transforms in to a self propelled canoe.
He also is a spirit helper to the Warrior were he could be
called upon to make the warrior powerful and invulnerable.
But with one glance he can kill or turn an enemy to stone.
This mask has is a one piece mask with the two heads of the sisutil being added on along with the hands and the claws they also act as ears for the warrior. All the scales of the serpent are layered and all the detail has been carved.
The mask measures 19inches high by 19 inches wide and is
8 1/2 inches deep.
