Mask - Mosquito Mask by Marcus Alfred C2012
The Mosquito Mask has various stories related to it one of the Dzunuk'wa or Wild Women of the woods she is pushed into the fire by a young boy and her smoke from the fire is turned into the Mosquito. This mask has been knife finished and beautifully carved it has articulating wings on the two top Mosquito's finished off with cedar bark rope, measures 16 1/2" high (21" high) with the articulating wings up x 18" wide x 9" deep.
