Mask - Speaker Mask by Calvin Hunt C2010
The speaker (Alkw) was a hereditary official who acted as spokesman for the chief on all public and ceremonial occasions. He had a badge of office, the speakers staff, which he held at all times while addressing the crowd.
Carved from Red Cedar the mask measures 11 inches high x 9 inches wide and 6 inches in depth not including the hair.
